A New Room for Paige

Before...

this originally was Ellie's room, then

a playroom for Paige and Ellie (as pictured)

After...
Still needs a few finishing touches...the
perfect print for the empty frame,
draperies...

same lamp in "before picture" on top shelf.
We used tissue paper and modge podge on the base,
covered the shade with fish net and
finished it off with rustic beads from Turkey.

The whole theme started with a giraffe pillow.

Found some cool "art-a-peel" bamboo to put behind

her bed.

The dresser wall. This picture doesn't do it

justice. We made paper lanterns that wrap

the dressser sides and top. Very cool look

when the main light is off.

The giraffe.

Now Ellie informs us that it's her turn for a "new" room!

Woodland park Zoo

Feeding the birds

A new park.

When mom and dad were here we took the
Port Orchard foot ferry to Bremerton.

Micall has a new hair cut....she begged me
into doing it. Talk about the longest hair cut ever.
I was so nervous to do it and not mess it up.

One of many fountains.

Standing in the line of fire...waiting...

the catapult is loaded with water balloon ammo.
There were a few direct hits (a bloody nose and a couple of huge welts).
Overall though it was great fun.

4th of July!
A big party at uncle Ron's house. Complete with go-cart race course, water balloon catapult, the "Tour de Buckley" bike/boat/scooter challenge course, dodge ball, birthday pinata, food, cake, and the annual tank battle/pyro blow-up the fort gunpowder display.
